Installation

This guide walks you through installing Ukkin on your Android or iOS device.

Requirements

Android

  • Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher
  • Minimum 4GB RAM recommended
  • 500MB free storage space

iOS

  • iOS 11.0 or higher
  • iPhone 6s or newer
  • 500MB free storage space

Download

Android

  1. Download the APK from the releases page
  2. Enable installation from unknown sources if prompted
  3. Open the APK file to install

iOS

  1. Download from TestFlight (beta) or the App Store (when available)
  2. Follow the on-screen installation prompts

First Launch

When you first open Ukkin, the app will:

  1. Initialize the AI model - This may take a few moments on first launch
  2. Create a default assistant - A pre-configured mobile assistant is set up automatically
  3. Request permissions - You'll be asked to grant necessary permissions

Initial Setup Time

The first launch may take 30-60 seconds as the on-device AI model is initialized. Subsequent launches are much faster.

Verify Installation

After installation, verify everything is working:

  1. Open Ukkin
  2. You should see the chat interface
  3. Try sending a message like "Hello" to confirm the AI is responding
  4. Tap the "Agents" tab to see the dashboard
